He photographs the odometer, morning and evening — that's all. The photo and GPS fix the time and the reading, and the day's shift, overtime and waiting sort themselves out. Miss a tap, and base pay still isn't docked.

How is this different from CCTV?
CCTV is a tool for watching. From the day it goes up, doubt becomes a job — footage to keep checking. This app is a ledger. It just keeps the numbers, honestly — and doubt becomes unnecessary.
And where CCTV footage is yours alone, this record is visible to him too, and stays on his side as proof of his work.
Will it show me if he's skimming fuel?
The app doesn't flag anything automatically. It simply keeps the distance driven and the fuel and expenses side by side.
And that's enough — when the numbers sit together, the checking is no longer needed. The very fact that a record exists erases the reason to fudge it.
Does it manage advances, too?
Yes. What was lent, what was repaid, and what's left — visible anytime, to you and to him, as the same numbers.
Monthly repayments are deducted on the payslip automatically (capped at 50% of that month's pay).
How do I explain this to the driver?
The first words are simple — say them out loud: “सॉरी, the overtime pay has been vague until now. From now on, I'll work it out properly and pay you.”
It lands not as a declaration of doubt, but as one of better treatment. Said from your own mouth, it reaches him far better than any message.
Why does he need to photograph the meter?
The distance driven backs up that day's work. It's more accurate for him than a time-only record — “that day ran long” becomes something the numbers can say.
The second photo, at clock-out, is so the driving after he leaves the car is never pinned on him.
And — it's he who sets the number, not the app. Reading it off the photo is only a draft; he sees it and confirms it, last. No pay moves on a number the machine decided on its own.
What gets recorded?
Location while on duty, the odometer photos taken at clock-in and clock-out, the clock times, and the expenses and advances he enters. Once work ends, nothing is recorded. The clock-in is the switch.
Can I watch him all the time on GPS?
No. Location is recorded only while on duty. It stops the instant he clocks out. Not on his days off, not at night.
And the recorded location is visible to him just the same. There's no screen only you can see.
What do we install?
He gets a dedicated Android app (from Google Play). You install nothing — it runs in the browser, on your phone or computer.
He uses it in Hindi (or English); for you, month-end checks and approvals are just a page you open.
Will he mind?
All he does is take one odometer photo, morning and evening. That's it. And for him, this isn't a chore forced on him — without the record, there's no overtime pay.
The record stays with him as proof of his work. The 30 free days are time to see that for himself, too.
What if he doesn't consent?
